( )] रािबीर ससंि, ावर सजर्व MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS (Department of Personnel and Training) New Delhi, the 12th March, 2020 G.S.R. 68.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession of the Union Public Service Commission, Linguistic Administration, Group ‘A’ Post, Recruitment Rules, 2017 except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Linguistic Administrator in the Union Public Service Commission, namely:-[भाग II— ण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािृत्र : मार्च 21, 2020/र्ैत्र 1, 1942 393 1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Union Public Service Commission, Linguistic Administrator, Group 'A' Post, Recruitment Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.— The number of post, its classification and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to ( 4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule. 4. Disqualification.— No person,- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person having a spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax in consultation with Union Public Service Commission, any of the provisions to these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. 6. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard. Desirable: (i) three years experience in organising or associating in national or international conference or seminars of academicians or experts; (ii) Doctor of Philosophy awarded in Hindi by a recognized university or published work in linguistic research; (iii) studied one of the languages other than Hindi included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution at 10th standard level from a recognised Board. Note 1: The Departmental Senior Research Officer[भाग II— ण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािृत्र : मार्च 21, 2020/र्ैत्र 1, 1942 395 (Language Medium) in level 11 in the pay matrix Rs. 67700-208700/- with ten years’ of regular service in the grade and having essential and desirable qualifications as prescribed for deputationists shall also be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment to the post, it shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion. Short title and commencement.—(i) These rules may be called the Union Public Service Commission, (Security Unit) Group ‘B’ posts Recruitment Rules, 2020. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Application.— These rules shall apply to the posts specified in the Column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. Disqualification.—No person,- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Anthropological Survey of India (Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2019. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Application.—These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these rules. 3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of the said posts, their classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule. 4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.—The method of recruitment, age- limit, qualifications and other matters shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule. 5. Disqualification.—No person, - (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 6. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. 7. Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
