Whereas the said Gazette was made available to the public on 11.01.2022. And whereas no objections and suggestions have been received by the State Government within the period of specified above. Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Village Offices Abolition Act, 1961, (Karnataka Act 14 of 1961) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules to amend the Karnataka Village Officer Abolition Rules, 1961, namely:- RULES 1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Village Officer Abolition (Amendment) Rules, 2021. (1)R.N.I. No. KARBIL/2001/47147 POSTAL REGN. Amendment of rule 4.- In the Karnataka Village Officer Abolition Rules, 1961 in rule 4, in sub-rule (1) for the figures and words "within 31st march 1992" the words and figures “within one year from the date of commencement of the Karnataka Village Officer Abolition (Amendment) Rules, 2021” shall be substituted.
