The details of major flyover and road- widening projects sanctioned on various NHs in Pune Metropolitan Region to remove traffic bottlenecks and timelines for completion of these works are as under: S. Name of work Target date for completion No. 1 Construction of Integrated structures of Chandani Chowk of NH-48 Completed in March, 2024 2 Construction of Six lane flyover at Katraj Junction at km 3/880 of June, 2026 NH 548DD 3 Concreting of service/slip road of Pune-Satara section of NH-48 June, 2027 (length 41 km) 4 Elevated corridors from Nashik Phata to Khed section of NH-60 March, 2030 (length 30 km) National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated studies to examine the feasibility for construction of elevated corridor from Ravet to Narhe section of NH-48. In addition to this, MoU has been signed with Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) for development of elevated corridors/ capacity augmentation in Pune – Shirur section of NH-753F, Talegaon – Chakan – Shikarpur section of NH-548D and Hadapsar – Yavat section of NH-65 based on technical feasibility.
