[G.O. Ms. No. 38, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises [EI(2)], 13th June 2019, ¬õè£C 30, Mè£K, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2050.] No. SRO B-43/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby make the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Industries Subordinate Services (Section 16 of Special Rules for the Subordinate Services in Volume-III of the Tamil Nadu Manual, 2016). 2. The amendments hereby made shall deemed to have come into force on the 16th October 2017. Amendments. In the said rules,— (1) in rule 1, in Class XIX, the category "2 Librarian, Grade II" shall be omitted; (2) in rule 2,— (a) in sub-rule (a), under Class XIX,- (i) for the entry "Librarian, Grade II" in item (1) in column (2) against the entry "Librarian, Grade I and Technical Assistant for Cataloguing and Classifying'' in column (I), the entry "Librarian, Grade III" shall be substituted; (ii) the entry "Librarian Grade II" in column (1) and the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof, shall be omitted; (b) in sub-rule (b), the entry' 'and Librarian, Grade II' shall be omitted; (3) in rule 3, in the table, in Class XIX, the entry ''2. Librarian, Grade II" in column (1) and the corresponding entry in column (2) thereof, shall be omitted; (4) in rule 5, for the entry "Librarian Grade II and Librarian Grade III" in column (1) against the entry "30 years" in column (2), the entry "Librarian Grade III" shall be substituted,— (5) In the Annexure (referred to in rule 6), under class XIX,- (a) for the expression in column (2) including the Explanation thereunder, against the entry 'Librarian, Grade I and Technical Assistant for Cataloguing and Classifying' in column (1), the following expression shall be substituted, namely:- "By promotion from among the holders of the post of Librarian, Grade III- (1) Must possess a degree in Arts or Science or Commerce from University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and (2) Must possess a degree in Library Science from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission or from a recognized Institution or Board; and (3) Must have served as Librarian, Grade III for a period of not less than four years. By direct recruitment, or transfer from any other class or category or recruitment by transfer from any other service- (1) Must posess a degree in Arts or Science or Commerce from University recognized by the University Grants Commission; and (2) Must Possess a degree in Library Science from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission or from a recognized Institution or Board; and (3) Must possess practical experience in Cataloguing and abstracting in a Library connected with any recognized Educational and Scientific Institution or Industrial concern for a period of not less than two years. Explanation.-- A recognized Institution or Board "shall mean an Institution or Board recognized by the Government of India or by any of the State Governments''., (b) the entry "2. Librarian, Grade II" in Column (1) and the corresponding entries in Column (2) thereof, shall be omitted". [G.O. Ms. No. 75, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), 17th June 2019, ÝQ 2, Mè£K, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2050] No. SRO B-44/2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987). 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on 24th October 2018. Amendment In the said Regulations, in ANNEXURE I-A, under the heading "B SUBORDINATE SERVICES" in item 3, in sub-item (xiii), for the expression "Geologist and Electronic Engineer in Highways Research Station, Guindy'', the expression "Geologist, Electronic Engineer in Highways Research Station, Guindy and Junior Draughting Officer" shall be substituted.
