G.O. Ms. No. 113, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M), dated 15th November 2016, details these amendments to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954.
These amendments, authorized under Article 318 of the Constitution of India, are deemed effective from August 9, 2011.
The amendments include:
1. Insertion of regulation 7-D after regulation 7-C, stating that "The Chairman and the Members of the Commission shall be under the purview of the State Vigilance Commission and Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption."
2. In Annexure II, in rule 7-A, the expression "except the Chairman and Members of the Commission," shall be omitted.
