Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan (DUVASU), Mathura on June 17,2026.
During the visit, the Secretary reviewed the University's ongoing academic, research, clinical, and
livestock development activities. Shri Gangwar reviewed key facilities including the Teaching Veterinary
Clinical Complex (TVCC), the Livestock Farm Complex (LFC), various advanced laboratories, and
instructional facilities. The Secretary also visited the University's specialized Goat Unit, where he took a
keen interest in the advanced breeding and reproductive biotechnology programmes.A major highlight of the tour was the Secretary's visit of India's pioneering Goat Semen Freezing Facility
housed within the Goat Unit. Appreciating the University's efforts in genetic improvement, conservation,
and dissemination of superior goat germplasm, Shri Gangwar discussed the vital role such technologies
play in enhancing small ruminant productivity and uplifting rural livelihoods.
Reaffirming the Government of India’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the Secretary
participated in a tree plantation drive on the campus under the national campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”.
The initiative symbolized a shared dedication towards ecological conservation alongside agricultural
development.Shri Gangwar also chaired an interactive session at the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Auditorium with faculty
