Short title and commencement:- (1) These regulations may be called the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Second Amendment Regulations, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Union Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1958, in Schedule II, after item 6B and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:- “6C. Appointment on deputation basis to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Level-10) and Additional Superintendent of Police (Level-11) in National Investigation Agency, for a period of two years”.
