The Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, today inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Building of
Modern School, Vasant Vihar, marking 50 years of the institution’s distinguished contribution to
education.
Congratulating the school on completing five decades of educational excellence, the Vice-President
described the milestone as a remarkable achievement, reflecting sustained dedication to learning, character
building, and nurturing generations of young minds.
Emphasizing the importance of early education, he remarked that while it is important to “catch them
young,” it is even more crucial to shape them into responsible and capable individuals. He noted that good
individuals build a good society, and a good society, in turn, builds a great nation.
The Vice-President appreciated the contributions made by alumni, including those associated with JK
