New Delhi, the 3rd November, 2021
G.S.R. 786(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a), (b) and (c) of sub-section (2) of section
50 of the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 (37 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses
Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses
(Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2017, (herein after referred
to as the said rules) in the Third Schedule, in the paragraph, occurring after the table, for the words and figure “the
fee shall be Rs. 5,000/-” the words “or a Self Help Group, the fees shall be rupees five hundred” shall be substituted.
3. In the said rules, in the Seventh Schedule, in the paragraph, occurring after the table, after the words “Cooperative
Credit Society”, the word “or Self Help Group” shall be inserted.
