(जर्कास और जर्जनयमन) भांडागारों का रजिस्ट्रीकरण जनयम, 2017 में और संिोधन करन े के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम
बनाती ह,ै ऄथावत:्-
1. (1) आन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम भांडागारण (जर्कास और जर्जनयमन) भांडागारों का रजिस्ट्रीकरण (संिोधन)
जनयम 2022 ह ै।
(2) ये रािपत्र म ेंईनके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रर्ृत्त होंगे।
2. भांडागारण (जर्कास एर् ं जर्जनयमन) भांडागारों का रजिस्ट्रीकरण जनयम 2017 (जिसे आसमें आसके पश्चात ईक्त
जनयम कहा गया ह)ै के जनयम 2 के, ईपजनयम (1) के, खंड (ि) म,ें ईपखंड (iv) के पश्चात जनम्नजलजखत ईपखंड
ऄंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकए िाएगं े ऄथातव :-
“(v) कोइ ऄन्द्य पदधारी, चाह े दकसी भी नाम से ज्ञात हो, िो ईपययवक्त दकन्द्ही पदधाररयों के कायव ऄथर्ा समान प्रकृजत
के कायव जनष्पाददत करता ह।ै ”
3. ईक्त जनयमों के, जनयम 4 में ईपजनयम (1) के पश्चात जनम्नजलजखत ईपजनयम ऄंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, ऄथावत ्

4. ईक्त जनयमों के जनयम 25 म,ें खंड (क) म ें“जर्जनर्ददष्ट” िब्द के स्ट्थान पर, “ऄजधसूजचत”, िब्द रखा िाएगा।
5. ईक्त जनयमों म,ें तीसरी ऄनयसूची के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत ऄनयसूची रखी िाएगी, ऄथावत:्-

प्रत्येक भांडागार जिसकी िमता 1,000 टन से ऄजधक ह,ै दकन्द्तय 10,000/- रुपए

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th April, 2022
G.S.R. 287(E).—ln exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a), (b) and (c) of sub-section (2) of section
50 of the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 (37 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses
Rules, 2017, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses
(Amendment) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2017 (hereinafter referred to
as the said rules), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), in clause (h), after sub-clause (iv), the following sub-clause shall be
inserted namely:-
―(v) any other official, by whatever name called, who performs the functions of any of the aforesaid officials
or functions of a similar nature.‖
3. In the said rules, in rule 4, after sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:-
―(1A) The Authority shall, from time to time, notify the type of goods that may be, the subject matter of a
negotiable warehouse receipt‖.
4. In the said rules, in rule 25, in clause (a), for the word ‗specified‘, the word ―notified‖ shall be substituted.
5. In the said rules, for the Third Schedule, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:-

I. Application fee for registration and renewal of warehouse storing only agricultural goods :
Unit of registration Fee
Each warehouse with a capacity of 500 Ton Rs. 5,000/-
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 500 Ton but less than or equal to Rs. 7,500/-
1,000 Ton
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 1,000 Ton but less than or equal to Rs. 10,000/-
2,500 Ton
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 2,500 Ton but less than or equal to Rs. 15,000/-
5,000 Ton
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 5,000 Ton but less than or equal to Rs. 20,000/-
10,000 Ton
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 10,000 Ton but less than or equal Rs. 25,000/-
to 25,000 Ton
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 25,000 Ton Rs. 30,000/-
Note:-Where the applicant or warehouseman is a Farmer Producer Organisation or a Primary Agricultural
Cooperative Credit Society or a Self Help Group, the fees shall be rupees five hundred.
II. Application fee for registration and renewal of warehouse storing both agricultural and non-agricultural goods :
Unit of Registration Fee
Each warehouse with a capacity of upto 10,000 Ton Rs. 50,000/-
Each warehouse with a capacity of more than 10,000 Ton but less than or equal to
Rs. 75,000/-

6. In the said rules, for the Seventh Schedule, the following schedule shall be substituted, namely:-

it shall not have deficit networth.
