NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th May, 2018
S.O. 1968(E).—Where as by the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways in S.O.No.1672 (E) dated the 23rd May 2017 issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3A of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the side Act) the Central Government declared its intention
to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the side notification for building (widening/two laning etc.)
maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.167 on the stretch of the land from Km 14/900 to Km
70/000 (Chintakunta to Adoni via Alur) in Kurnool District in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
And whereas the substance of the side notification has been published in daily local News paper i.e., Andhra
Jyothi (Telugu) dated the 21st June, 2017 and The Hindu (English) dated the 21st June, 2017 under sub-section (3) of
Section 3A of the side Act;
And whereas no objections have been received from any persons by the competent authority.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the side Act, the competent authority as
submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the side report of competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (1) of the section 3D of the side Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the
side Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the side Act; the Central Government here by
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the side Scheduled shall vest
