NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10 th June, 2016
S. O. 2102(E).— Whereas by notification of Government of India in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas,
number S.O. 393(E) dated- 10-02-2014 and S.O. 927(E) dated- 23-03-2015 and 1337(E) dated 07-05-2015, issued under
sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962
(50 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), Government of India declared its intention to acquire the Right of
User in land, specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh)
-Jaysing Nagar-Beohari-Gurh-Phulpur (Uttar Pradesh) gas pipeline for transportation of natural gas from the Sohagpur
(East) and Sohagpur (West) CBM Blocks under Shahdol district in Madhya Pradesh State of M/s Reliance Industries
Limited by M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited to the consumers in various parts of the country;
And whereas, the copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public on or before
15/06/2015;
And whereas, no objections were received from the public to the laying of the pipeline.
And whereas, the Competent Authority has under sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the said Act, submitted report
to the Government of India;
And whereas, Government of India, after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said land is
required for laying the pipeline, have decided to acquire the Right of User therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the said Act, Government
of India hereby declares that the Right of User in the land, specified in the Schedule, appended to this notification, is
hereby acquired for laying the pipeline;
And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the said Act, Government of
India hereby directs that the Right of User in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting in Government
of India, vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited, free from all
encumbrances.
