NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2020
S.O. 196(E).—Whereas by notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
S.O.No.2008 ( E ) dated 15.05.2019 issued under sub section ( 1 ) of section 3 of Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in land) Act , 1962, ( 50/1962 ), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), published in
the Extraordinary Gazette of India No.1796 dated 20.06.2019, the Central Government declared its intention to
acquire the Right of User in the land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of laying
pipeline for transportation of gas through TNG # 3 to MDM CPF pipeline by the Oil and Natural Corporation of¹भाग IIµख(cid:2) ड 3 (ii)º भारत का राजप(cid:12) : असाधारण 7
India Limited.
And whereas, the copies of said Gazette Notification were made available to the public;
And whereas, the objections received from the public to the laying of pipeline have been considered and
disposed of by the Competent Authority;
And whereas, the Competent Authority has under Sub- section (1) Section 6 of the Act, submitted its report
to Government of India;
And whereas, the Government of India after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said
land is required for laying the pipelines, has decided to acquire the Right of User therein;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section ( 1 ) of the Section 6 of the said Act,
Government of India hereby declares that the Right of User in the land specified in the Schedule appended to this
Notification is hereby acquired for laying the pipeline;
And, further, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section 4 of Section 6 of the said Act, Government
of India hereby directs that the Right of User in the land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting the
Government of India, vest, on this date of the publication of the declaration, in the ONGC Limited, free from all
encumbrances.
