S.O. 3566 dated 19th December, 2007; and S.O. 1852( E ) dated 27th July, 2009, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), Government of India declared its intention to acquire Right of Users in lands, specified in the schedules appended to those notifications, for the purpose of laying Kakinada – Hyderabad – Uran – Ahmedabad Gas Pipeline by M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited (earlier Gas Transportation and Infrastructure Company Limited) for transportation of natural gas to consumers in various parts of the country; And whereas, Government of India, after considering the reports submitted by the Competent Authority under sub-section(1) of Section 6 of the Act and on being satisfied that the said lands were required for laying the pipeline, decided to acquire the Rights of Users therein; And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of India declared acquisition of the Rights of Users in lands, specified in the schedules appended to those notifications, for laying the said pipeline, vide notifications of Government of India in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas number S.O. 1815 dated 17th October, 2007; S.O. 3351 dated 18th December, 2008; S.O. 1329(E) dated 22nd May, 2009 and S.O. 45(E) dated 31st December, 2009; And whereas, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of India declared vesting the Rights of Users in the said lands for laying the pipeline in M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited instead of Government of India, free from all encumbrances on the dates of publication of respective declarations;¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 And whereas, M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited (RGPL), which is laying Dahej- Nagothane Ethane Pipeline, intends to share with M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited the Rights of Users in lands described in the schedule appended to this notification, which has been earlier vested in M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited (earlier Gas Transportation and Infrastructure Company Limited) as mentioned above; And whereas, M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure limited has consented to the sharing of the Rights of Users in the said lands with M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited for the purpose of laying Dahej- Nagothane Ethane Pipeline. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of India directs that the Rights of Users in the said lands, vested earlier in M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited, would also be vested in M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited, free from all encumbrances from the date of publication of this declaration.
