New Delhi, the 23rd September, 2015
S.O. 2668(E).— Whereas by notifications of Government of India in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas
number S.O. 564 dated 17th February, 2005, S.O. 1851 dated 09th May, 2006, S.O. 2419(E) dated 01st October, 2008,
S.O. 1332(E) dated 22nd May, 2009 and S.O. 3069(E) dated 30th November, 2009, issued under sub-section (1) of
Section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962)
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), Government of India declared its intention to acquire Rights of Users in lands,
specified in the schedules appended to those notifications, for the purpose of laying Kakinada – Hyderabad – Uran –
Ahmedabad Gas Pipeline by M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited (RGTIL) for transportation of
natural gas to consumers in various parts of the country;
And whereas, Government of India, after considering the reports submitted by the respective Competent
Authorities under sub-section(1) of Section 6 of the Act and on being satisfied that the said lands were required for
laying the pipeline, decided to acquire the Rights of Users therein;
And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of
India declared acquisition of the Rights of Users in lands, specified in the schedules appended to those notifications, for
laying the said pipeline, vide notifications of Government of India in Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas number
S.O. 2237 dated 21st June, 2005, S.O. 4338 dated 10th November, 2006, S.O. 1187(E) dated 06th May, 2009, S.O.
2844(E) dated 04th November, 2009, and S.O. 574(E) dated 09th March, 2010;
And whereas, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of India
declared vesting the Rights of Users in the said lands for laying the pipeline in M/s RGTIL, instead of Government of
India, free from all encumbrances on the dates of publication of respective declarations;
And whereas, M/s Reliance Gas Pipelines Limited (RGPL), which is laying Dahej – Nagothane Liquid Ethane
Pipeline, intends to share with M/s RGTIL the Rights of Users in land, described in the schedule appended to this
notification, which has been earlier vested in M/s RGTIL as mentioned above;¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 9
And whereas, M/s RGTIL has consented to the sharing of the Rights of Users in the said land with M/s RGPL
for the purpose of laying Dahej - Nagothane Liquid Ethane Pipeline;
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the Act, Government of
India directs that the Rights of Users in the said lands, vested earlier in M/s RGTIL, would also be vested in M/s RGPL,
free from all encumbrances from the date of publication of this declaration.
