And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in three local Newspapers namely “Uttarbanga Sambad”, “The Telegraph” & “Dainik Jagran” on 17th May, 2015, under Sub-Section (3) of Section 3A of the said Act; And whereas, in pursuance of Sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the said act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government that no objection to the use of land for the purpose or purposes mentioned in the sub-section ( 1) of Section 3A has been made to the competent authority within the specified period of 21 days under sub-section (1) of Section 3C; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the Schedule annexed hereto should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
