NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th November, 2015
S.O. 3096(E).—Whereas by the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping, Road
Transport and Highways, Department of Road, Transport and Highways containing the publication of Notification in
S.O. No. 2690 (E), Dt. 01.10.2015 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii)
issued under Sub Section (1) of Section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (45 of 1956) (here in after referred to as
the said Act) the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the
said notification for building (widening /four laning etc.), maintenance, management and operation of construction of
Fly Over near Kanaka Durga Temple and Four lanning the missing link from Bhavanipuram of NH-9 (from Km 269.840
to 271.740) to Kanaka Durgamma Varadhi of NH-5 (from Km 0.000 to 2.200) in the District Krishna in the state of
Andhra Pradesh.
And Whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in the Deccan Chronicle dated
04.10.2015 and Eenadu (Telugu) dated 04.10.2015 under section (1) of Section 3A of the said Act.
And whereas objections over the said acquisition have been received from the land holders / interested persons
and have been overruled by the competent authority / Sub Collector, Vijayawada, Krishna District, as there are no
merits in the objections raised and also the purpose is public.
And where as in pursuance of sub Section (1) of Section 3D if the said Act the competent authority has

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers,
conferred by sub section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the specified
land in the said schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of the sub section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest
absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
