भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खण्ड 3, उपखंड (ii) म ें प्रकाजित की गई थी, द्वारा आध्रं प्रिेि राज्य के वेस्ट्ट
गोिावरी जिल े म ें "6 लेन हनमु ान िंक्िन बाईपास के (जवद्यमान 1055.680 दक.मी से 1060.800 दक.मी तक),
(जडिाइन चैनेि 0.000 से चैनेि 6.720), सजहत रारा-5 (नया रारा -16) के जवद्यमान चार लेन सड़क के
कलापरु (जडिाइन 1050.680 दकमी) से जचन्ना अवुटुपल्ली (जडिाइन 1076.480 दकमी) (कुल जडिाइन लम्बाई-
27.400)" तक के भू-खण्ड के जनमागण (चौड़ीकरण/6-लेन का बनाना आदि), अनुरक्षण, प्रबंधन और प्रचालन के
जलए उक्त अजधसूचना से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची म ेंजवजनर्िष्टग भूजम का अिगन करन ेके अपन ेआिय की घोषणा की थी ;
और उक्त अजधसूचना का सार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3क की उपधारा (3) के अधीन तारीख
"28.02.2020" को "साक्षी" और "िी जहन्द्ि"ू िोनों म ेंप्रकाजित दकया गया था ;
और सक्षम प्राजधकारी को कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त नहीं हुए थ े;

अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, सक्षम प्राजधकारी की उक्त ररपोट ग प्राप्त हो िाने पर और उक्त अजधजनयम की
धारा 3घ की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक उक्त अनुसूची म ें
जवजनर्िष्टग भूजम का पूवोक्त प्रयोिन के जलए अिगन दकया िाना चाजहए ;
और अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 3घ की उपधारा (2) के अनुसरण म ें यह घोषणा करती

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th May, 2020
S.O. 1493(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways, number S.O.720(E), dated 14th February, 2020, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National
Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its
intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building
(widening/six-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.16, "6-laning of
existing 4-lane road from Kalaparru (Design Km.1050.680) to Chinna Avutupalli (Design Km.1076.480) of
NH-5 (New NH-16) including 6 lane Hanuman Junction bypass from (Existing Km.1055.680 to Km.1060.800)
(Design Ch.0.000 to Ch.6.720), (Total Design Length - 27.400 Km)" in the District of West Godavari in the
State of Andhra Pradesh;
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Sakshi” and “The Hindu”
both dated 28.02.2020, under sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act;And whereas no objections have been
received from any person by the competent Authority;And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section
3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government;Now, therefore,
upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-
section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the
said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said
