NHAI-HQ/11013/2011-LA/Notif./PIU-Villupuram/3D] राजेि गुप् ता, उप सजचव MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 13th February, 2020 S.O. 704(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number S.O. No. 3050(E), dated 22nd August, 2019 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, No. 2785, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) and issued under[भाग II— खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का राजपत्र : असाधारण 5 sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquires the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/Two - laning / four-laning, etc.) maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No. 227 on the stretch of land from Km. 40/150 to Km. 103/320 (Trichy–Chidambaram section) in Ariyalur District in the State of Tamil Nadu; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in ―The Hindu‖ and ―Daily Thanthi‖ both dated the 15th October, 2019 under Sub-section (3) of section 3A of the said Act; And whereas objection petition has been received and disposed by Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli/Ariyalur. And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of Section 3D of the said Act, The Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli/Ariyalur has submitted his report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of The Competent Authority and Special District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli/Ariyalur in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
