NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th November, 2018
S.O. 5855(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of shipping,
Road Transport and Highways, , (Department of Roads Transport & Highways), number S.O. 3798 (E)
dated the 1st December, 2017, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956
(48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as said Act ) and publishied in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary
No. 3331, part-II, Section-3, Sub-Section (ii) dated the 01.12.17, the Central Government declared its
intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the public purpose for
widening, strengthening, construction of Minor & Major Bridges and construction of Toll Plazas on National¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3
Highways - 163 from KM 59/500 to 132/033 (Manneguda - Ravulapally Section) in Vikarabad district in the
State of Telanagana.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “Namaste Telangana”
Telugu daily news paper on 03-01-2018 and "Deccan Chronicle" daily newspaper on 03.01.2018.
And whereas only one objection has been received from the person interested in the land for aquistion
and same has been considered and disposed off as it is not maintainable.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority
has submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the
powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that the land specified in the Schedule aneexed hereto should be aquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the
Schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances
