NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd December, 2015
S.O. 3290(E).—Whereas, by the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Petroleum and Natural Gas, S.O numbers and dates as mentioned in the Schedule below issued under Sub-
section (i) of Section 6, Petroleum and Minerals Pipeline (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962
(50 of 1962), the Central Government acquired the Right of User in the said lands specified in the Schedules
appended to those notifications;
AND WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Sub-Section(4) of Section 6 of the said
Act, the Central Government vested the Right of User in the said lands free from all encumbrances in the
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited;
AND WHEREAS, the Competent Authority has made a report to the Central Government that the
pipeline for the purpose of transportation of petroleum products from Rewari in Haryana State to Kanpur in
Uttar Pradesh State have been laid in the said lands and hence the operation may be terminated in Tehsil
Etawah of Etawah District in the State of Uttar Pradesh in respect of the said lands which in brief are
specified in the Schedule annexed to this Notification;
Now, therefore, as required under explanation -1 of rule 4 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Rules, 1963, the Central Government hereby declare the dates
mentioned in Column 7 of the said Schedule as the dates of termination of activities in ROU in the state Uttar
