New Delhi, the 18th January, 2017
No. 20012/1/2017-BC-II.—Whereas by the Resolution of the Government of India, Ministry of
Welfare bearing No.12011/9/1994-BCC dated 19.10.1994 published in Extra Ordinary issue of the Gazette
of India, Part-I, Section-I, G.N.No.163, Thursday, October 20, 1994 in the State : Orissa : Common List :
Khaira caste was included against S.No.66 of the Central List of OBCs for Orissa.
Whereas the said community “Khaira” of Odisha has now been included in the list of Scheduled Tribe of
Odisha therefore, the following amendment is made in the said Resolution namely:
S.No.66 and entry namely “Khaira” caste stands deleted from the Central List of OBCs for the State of
Odisha.
