New Delhi, the 25th July, 2016
S.O. 2524(E).— Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and
Collection) Rules, 2008 published vide G.S.R 838(E) dated 5th December, 2008 and amended from time to
time, the Central Government, vide notification S.O. 422(E) dated 21.02.2013 authorized National Highways
Authority of India to collect, either through its officials or through a contractor, fee for use of the four and
more lanes section from kilometer 155.000 to kilometer 220.000 (on the National Highway No. 25 in the State
of Uttar Pradesh.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), read with Rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules 2008
and amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the
