NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th October, 2017
S.O. 3306(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956), read with rule 3 of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008
published vide G.S.R. 838 (E) dated the 5th Dec, 2008 and amended vide G.S.R 950(E) dated 3rd December, 2010,G.S.R
15(E) dated 12th January, 2011 and G.S.R. 756(E) dated 12th October 2011, the Central Government, vide notification
S.O. 719(E) dated 07.03.2014, notified that there shall be levied and collected fees on the mechanical vehicle for the useII (ii) 3
of Barwa Adda - Panagarh section from Kilometre 398.240 to Kilometre 521.120 on National Highway No. 2
(hereinafter referred to as the “said section”) and authorized M/s. Barwa Adda Expressway Limited having its registered
office at IL&FS financial Centre, Plot C-22, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra(E), Mumbai-400051,
Maharashtra, for the Operation and Maintenance of the said section and its development to six lane standards on Design,
Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis under NHDP-V and to collect and retain the fee on and from the
date of commercial operation or publication of fee notification dated 07.03.2014 whichever is later, till the termination
date as specified in the agreement;
And whereas the Authority has entered into a Supplementary agreement on 28.08.2017 with the Concessionaire
M/s. Barwa Adda Expressway Limited for operation of the second toll plaza at km 507.000 (design chainage), near
Banskopa in Burdwan District with the present status of completion of project in modification of Clause 14.2 of the
Concession Agreement and Schedule-R to the extent applicable.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), read with the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules 2008 and amended vide
G.S.R 950(E) dated 3rd December, 2010, G.S.R 15(E) dated 12th January, 2011 and G.S.R. 756(E) dated 12th October
2011, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification published vide S.O. 719(E)
dated 07.03.2014:-
Para 1 (under the Table-1) shall be substituted as:
1. The fee levied and collected hereunder shall be due and payable at the following Fee Plaza(s) for net road length
specified for such Fee Plaza(s):
