New Delhi, the 6th September, 2018
S.O. 4331(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the
Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the
Central Government had extended the application of the provisions of the said Act to the Mumbai
Metropolitan Area in the State of Maharashtra vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Urban Development (now Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs), number S.O. 2625(E), dated the

2. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of
the said Act, the Central Government hereby adds the following metro alignments of Mumbai Metro Line-6,
Swami Samarth Nagar-Jogeshwari-Vikhroli in respect of the metropolitan area of Mumbai to the Schedule of
the said Act, namely :—
