NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th November, 2019
S.O. 4147(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1
of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978) (herein after referred to as
the said Act), the Central Government had extended the application of the provisions of the said Act
to the areas of National Capital Region vide notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile
Ministry of Urban Development, number S.O. 2625(E), dated the 16th October, 2009.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of
section 32 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby adds the following alignments of
Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS) Corridor (Map annexed), in
respect of the areas of National Capital Region to the Schedule of the said Act, namely :—

Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad,
RRTS Corridor Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modinagar
