NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th July, 2019
S.O. 2453(E).—Whereas, M/s. Aspen Infrastructures Limited (formerly M/s. Suzlon Infrastructure Limited &
M/s. Synefra Engineering and Construction Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act,
2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for
Engineering sector (formerly Hi-tech Engineering Products and related services) at Villages – Pipalia and Alwa, Taluka –
Waghodia, District – Vadodara in the State of Gujarat;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4
of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified/de-notified the following areas
at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below: —

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government approved the request of change of sector from Hi-tech Engineering

AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government approved the requests of change of name from M/s. Suzlon
Infrastructure Limited to M/s. Synefra Engineering and Construction Limited and to M/s. Aspen Infrastructures Limited;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Aspen Infrastructure Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 0.3804 hectares
from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Gujarat has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No.
IC/INFRA/1542907 dated 04th June, 2019;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Kandla, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-
notification of an area of 0.3804 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3
of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.3804 hectares at Villages – Pipalia and Alwa, Taluka – Waghodia,
District – Vadodara in the State of Gujarat, thereby making the resultant area as 51.1676 hectares, comprising the survey
numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:—
