NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th February, 2020
S.O. 844(E).—Whereas, M/s. Aurum Platz IT Pvt. Ltd. (formerly M/s. Loma IT Park Developers Pvt. Ltd.)
had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the
said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information
Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at Plot G-4/1, TTC Industrial Area, Village-Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai in the
State of Maharashtra;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of
6.5 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notification
Number S.O. 1218(E) dated 15th March, 2016;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Aurum Platz IT Pvt. Ltd. has now proposed for de-notification of 0.6481 hectare
from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its approval to the proposal vide letter
No. SEZ-2014/CR-171/Ind-2 dated 21st January, 2020;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-
notification of an area of 0.6481 hectare of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4
of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006,
the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.6481 hectare, thereby making the resultant area as
