NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th November, 2018
S.O. 5839(E).— Whereas, M/s. M.P. Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (Indore) Limited, had proposed
under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act)
to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology & Information Technology
Enabled Services at Indore in the State of Madhya Pradesh;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 7.99
hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.
1899(E) dated 2nd November, 2006;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. M.P. Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (Indore) Limited has now proposed for
de-notification of 1.86 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Madhya Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal
vide letters No. 17-07/2018/A-11 dated 20.07.2018 and 17-07/2018/A-11 dated 30.10.2018;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Indore Special Economic Zone has recommended
the proposal for de-notification of an area of 1.86 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of
section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.86 hectares at Khandwa Road,
Bhanwarkuan, Indore in the State of Madhya Pradesh, thereby making resultant area as 6.13 hectares,
