NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th December, 2015
S. O. 11(E).—Whereas M/s. Orient Craft Infrastructure Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special
Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special
Economic Zone for Textile at Villages Bans Hariya, Jhund Sarai and Bangrolla, District Gurgaon in the State of Haryana;
And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, had notified an area of 114.8318 hectares,
20.4423 hectares and 6.8290 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry
Notification Numbers S.O. 578 (E) dated 13th April, 2007, S.O. 2598 (E) dated 19th October, 2010 and S.O 110 (E)
dated 19th January, 2011;
And, whereas, M/s. Orient Craft Infrastructure Limited has proposed to de-notify the entire area of 142.1031
hectares of the above Special Economic Zone;
And, whereas, the State Government of Haryana has given its "No Objection" to the proposal vide letter No.
Exp/SEZ/8/M/s. Orient Craft/4758-A dated 16th April, 2013;
And, whereas, the Development Commissioner, Noida Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal
for de-notification of the entire area of 142.1031 Hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones
Rules 2006, the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to
be done before such rescission.
