KOHIMA MARIANI TRANSMISSION LIMITED, the applicant with its Registered Office at A-63, FIEE Complex, 3rd floor, Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2 New Delhi – 110 020, has applied for approval under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for construction of “Transmission System for North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme (NERSS-VI)”. Works covered under the scheme: (1) Imphal – New Kohima 400 kV D/c Line with Twin Moose ACSR conductor -Approx. Length 134 kms. And whereas Government of India, Ministry of power vide Order No. 81/7/2015/PSPA-II/109 dated 08.02.2016 had granted prior approval under sub-section (1) of Section 68 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for construction of “Transmission System for North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme (NERSS-VI)”. (iii) the Applicant shall have to follow regulations / codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission, O&M, open access etc framed under Electricity Act,2003. (iv) the Applicant has been entrusted with the responsibility of construction of “Transmission System for North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme (NERSS-VI)”. Works covered under the scheme: (1) Imphal – New Kohima 400 kV D/c Line with Twin Moose ACSR conductor -Approx. Length 134 kms. (2) New Kohima – New Mariani 400 kV D/c Line with Twin Moose ACSR conductor- Approx.
