NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd August, 2019
S.O. 3106(E).—Whereas, M/s. Mindspace Business Parks Pvt. Ltd. (formerly M/s. K. Raheja Corporation
Private Limited and M/s. Serene Properties Pvt. Ltd.), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act,
2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for
Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at Pocharam Village, Hayathnagar
Taluka, Ghatkesar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad in the State of Telangana (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh);
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4
of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 26.895 hectares vide
Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notification Number S.O. 869(E) dated 01st June, 2007;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Mindspace Business Parks Pvt. Ltd. has now proposed for de-notification of 14.162
hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its approval to the proposal vide letter
No. 1948/IT&C/Prom2/2006 dated 05th August, 2019;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam, SEZ has recommended the proposal for
de-notification of an area of 14.162 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3
of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 14.162 hectares at Pocharam Village, Hayathnagar Taluka, Ghatkesar
Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad in the State of Telangana (erstwhile Andhra Pradesh), thereby making the
resultant area as 12.733 hectares, comprising the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely:-
