NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th July, 2019
S.O. 2609(E).—Whereas, M/s. Sundew Properties Limited (formerly M/s. K. Raheja IT Park (Hyderabad)
Private Limited & M/s. Sundew Properties Private Limited), had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic
Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone
for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services (IT/ITES) at Hi-tech City, Madhapur, Ranga
Reddy District, Hyderabad in the State of Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana);
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4
of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified 16.29 hectares and de-notified
1.82 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notifications Number
S.O. 1770(E) dated 16th October, 2006 and S.O. 1928(E) dated 06th August, 2010 respectively;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government approved the requests of change of name from M/s. K. Raheja IT
Park (Hyderabad) Private Limited to M/s. Sundew Properties Private Limited and to M/s. Sundew Properties Limited;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Sundew Properties Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 0.45 hectares from
the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Telangana has given its approval to the proposal vide letter
No. 78/IT&C/Prom2/2006 dated 22nd June, 2019;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam, SEZ has recommended the proposal for
de-notification of an area of 0.45 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3
of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.45 hectares at Hi-tech City, Madhapur, Ranga Reddy District,
Hyderabad in the State of Telangana, thereby making the resultant area as 14.02 hectares, comprising the survey number
