New Delhi, the 21st October, 2019
F. No. CEA-PS-11-21(21)/5/2019-PSPA-I Division.— Whereas the Central Electricity Authority,
Ministry of Power, Government of India vide Order No. S.O. 5404(E) dated 26th October, 2018 had conferred upon
M/s FBTL (Fatehgarh - Bhadla Transmission Limited) on its application all the powers under Section 164 of Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established
or maintained for laying of Fatehgarh Pooling Station-Bhadla (PG) 765 kV D/C line ( to be operated at 400 kV); and
Whereas on request of M/s FBTL for Forest Clearance,
काया(cid:4)लय उप वन सरं(cid:9)क व(cid:11)य जीव, जैसलमरे , वन िवभाग,
रा(cid:12)(cid:13)थान सरकार vide its letter No. एफ( ) िविवध/उवसवजीज /ै 2018-19/498 dated 05.02.2019 has intimated to them that
the 63 km route of the said line is passing through the GIB Arc of DNP, and therefore, requested M/s FBTL to explore
other alternative and re-route the line outside the GIB Arc; and
Whereas M/s FBTL vide its letter No. FBTL/CEA/002/27072019 dated 27.07.2019 to the Central Electricity
Authority has requested for seeking authorization under section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the re-routing line to
avoid Great Indian Bustard (GIB) Arc.
Accordingly, in order to process the request of M/s FBTL for granting authorization under section 164 of the
Electricity Act, 2003 for re-routing the line, Central Electricity Authority hereby revokes its Order No. S.O. 5404(E)
dated 26th October, 2018 with effect from date of issue of this order in the Gazette of India.
