And Whereas the Council in order to support the digital India initiative of the Government of India and in furtherance of the Go-Green initiatives, decided that, the Members of the Institute shall be given an opportunity for opting out from receiving the physical copies of the Chartered Secretary Journal (CSJ) by way of reduction in the existing Membership Fees. And Whereas, the Council accorded its approval for conducting the mandatory ‘PCS Orientation Programme’ pursuant to Regulation 10(1) of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, with effect from 01st April, 2023 and that the fees for the PCS Orientation Programme shall form part of the Certificate of Practice (CoP) fees. And Whereas, the Council also decided that, the concession extended w.e.f.. 1st April, 2015 and thereafter, to the newly admitted Associate Members in Annual Membership Fees and Annual CoP fees for the first two years (including the year of enrolment) shall stand discontinued w.e.f. 1st April, 2023 i.e. from Financial Year 2023-24.
