**Policy Summary: Enhancement of Outlay for Phase 1 of FAME India Scheme**

5. इसिलए, अब का.आ. 830(अ), (cid:4)दनांक 13 माच, 2015 के #ारा अिधसूिचत फेम %क&म के चरण–I के
`795 करोड़ के कुल पBरCय को इस %क&म के चरण–I के िलए तदनुसार `895 करोड़ संशोिधत (cid:4)कया जाता ह।ै

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th November, 2018
S.O. 5806(E).—Whereas, the Department of Heavy Industry notified the scheme namely Faster
Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India [FAME India] vide S.O. 830(E) dated
13th March 2015.
2. And whereas, the Phase-1 of the FAME India Scheme was approved for a total outlay of
Rs. 795 crore vide para 5 of the above mentioned Gazette notification.
3. And whereas, Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) recommended for additional outlay of
Rs. 100 Crore, over & above the existing approved outlay of Rs. 795 Crore of this scheme, vide Ministry of
Finance office memorandum number 20(4)/PF-II/2011(Pt.) dated 4th September 2018.
4. And whereas, the Ministry of Finance approved the enhancement of total outlay of Phase-1 of
FAME Scheme from Rs. 795 crore to Rs. 895 Crore vide Ministry of Finance I.D. Note DoE 20(04)/PF-
II/2011 dated 1st November 2018.
5. Now, therefore, the total outlay of Phase-1 of FAME Scheme of Rs. 795 Crore, notified vide
S.O. 830(E) dated 13th March 2015, stands amended accordingly to Rs. 895 Crore for the Phase-1 of this
scheme.
