था दक श्री धममग्न अरविदकुमार जत्रिेदी, सुपुत्र श्री अरविदकुमार उमाकांत जत्रिेदी, जनिासी (i) ए-3/2, कलारथ अपार्ममेंर्,

स े 7 ददन के अंदर िह पुजलस आयुक्त, िाहीबाग, अहमदाबाद-380004 या पुजलस महाजनदेिक, गुजरात सरकार,

New Delhi, the 29th January, 2020
S.O. 451(E).—Whereas the Joint Secretary to the Government of India, specially empowered under sub-
section (1) of Section 3 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974
(52 of 1974) issued Order No. PD-12002/22/2019-COFEPOSA dated 02.8.2019 under the said sub-section directing
that Shri Dharmagna Arvindkumar Trivedi, S/o Shri Arvindkumar Umakant Trivedi, R/o (i) A-3/2, Kalarath
Apartments, Opp. Seema Hall, 100 Feet Road (Anand Nagar Road), Satellite, Ahmedabad -380015; (ii) 48 Sentossa
Neemland, Near Narmada Canal, Adalaj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat; and (iii) Office address at Showroom No. 103,
Shangrila Arcade, Near Shyamal Cross Road, 100 ft Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad be detained and kept in Central
Jail, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad with a view to prevent him from smuggling goods; abetting the smuggling of goods;
and engaging in transporting or concealing or keeping smuggled goods, in future.
2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or has
been concealing himself so that the said Order cannot be executed.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the said
Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before the Commissioner of Police,
Shahibaug, Ahmedabad-380004 or Director General of Police, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar within 7 days
of the publication of this Order in the Official Gazette.
