New Delhi, the 30th November, 2021
S.O. 4908(E).—Whereas the Joint Secretary to the Government of India specially empowered
under sub section (1) of Section 3 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic
Substances Act, 1988 issued a Detention Order No.U-11011/3/2020-PITNDPS dated 09.09.2020 under the
said sub-section directing that Shri Dilip Kumar @ Dileep Kumar @ Dilip Sah @ Dilip Saw @ Dilip Sao
S/o Shri Hari Saran Choudhary, R/o Village- Maujipur, PO+PS- Fatuha, Distt.- Patna, Bihar, be detained
and kept in custody in Beur Central Jail, Kisan Colony, Anisabad, Patna with a view to prevent him from
engaging in illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances.
2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or
has been concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (b) of sub- section (1) of Section 8 of the
said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before the Director General
of Police, Patna within 10 days of the publication of this order in the official Gazette.
