NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th January, 2019
S.O.457(E).—Whereas the Urban Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of
Delhi vide notification number F.7/79/ADLB/2016/CD-000383132/3827-3841, dated the 16th May, 2017 declared
eighty-nine villages as Urban areas as mentioned in column (3) of the Schedule annexed below.4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
And whereas, under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 150 of Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (8 of 1954) the
Gaon Sabha areas of said villages have been vested in the Central Government.
Now, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Delhi Development Act, 1957 (61 of
1957), the Central Government hereby places, with immediate effect, the areas of the villages, which have vested in the
Central Government on the urbanization of the villages specified in the Schedule, at the disposal of the Delhi
Development Authority for the purpose of development and maintenance of the said areas and for taking such steps as
may be required to serve the purpose and development of these areas shall be done as per the extant Master Plan of
Delhi notified from time to time.
