NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th April, 2015
S.O. 1075(E).—Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways No. S.O.1697(E), dated the 4th July, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub – Section (ii) and issued under Sub-section (1) of Section 3(A) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
( hereinafter referred to as the said act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the
Schedule annexed to the said notification for "Widening and strengthening to two lane from km 243.30 to 290.20 of
NH-234 [Huliyar-Sira Section] in Karnataka under special project scheme [Job No. 234-KNT-2010-032]"
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in the Local News Papers, “Deccan
Herald” (English) and “Vijaya Karnataka” (Kannada) dated the 12th September, 2014 under
sub-Section (3) of Section 3 (A) of the said Act.
And whereas no objections have been received from any person by the Competent Authority.
And whereas in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3(D) of the said Act, the Competent Authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority, the Special Land Acquisition
Officer, National Highways Zone, Bangalore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3(D) of
the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for

And further, in pursuance of sub section (2) of Section 3(D) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
