Title, commencement and application.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Directorate Health and Family Welfare Services (Recruitment of Senior Medical Officer/Specialists, General Duty Medical Officers and Dental Health Officers) (Special)(Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of rule 4.- In rule 4 of the Karnataka Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services (Recruitment of Senior Medical Officers/Specialists, General Duty Medical Officers and Dental Health Officers) (Special) Rules, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for the words “twenty one”, the words “twenty six” shall be substituted. 3. Amendment of rule 6.- In rule 6 of the said rules, in sub-rule (2), for the words and punctuation “two percent for each completed year of service, subject to a maximum of twenty percent”, the words and punctuation “two and half percent for each completed six months of service, subject to a maximum of thirty percent” shall be substituted.
