S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2025 No. 1027 CIVIL AVIATION The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Sandringham House) (Restricted Zone EG R219) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2025 Made - - - - 16th September 2025 Coming into force - - 22nd September 2025 The Secretary of State has decided that it is necessary in the public interest to amend the restricted area in the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Sandringham House) (Restricted Zone EG R219) Regulations 2025(a). The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016(b). Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Sandringham House) (Restricted Zone EG R219) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2025 and they come into force on 22nd September 2025. Amendment of the Regulations 2.—(1) The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Sandringham House) (Restricted Zone EG R219) Regulations 2025 are amended as follows. (2) In regulation 2(1)— (a) in sub-paragraph (a), for “524948N 0003049E between 524819N 0003104E and 525117N 0003033E” substitute “524939N 0002840E between 524810N 0002901E and 525108N 0002819E”, (b) in sub-paragraph (b), for “525117N 0003033E” substitute “525108N 0002819E”, (c) in sub-paragraph (d), for “524819N 0003104E” substitute “524810N 0002901E”. (b) S.I. 2016/765, as amended by S.I. 2024/990; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant.EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations amend The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Sandringham House) (Restricted Zone EG R219) Regulations 2025 (S.I. 2025/276) by amending the area of the restricted area. It has been agreed by the Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Transport that flying should be restricted in the vicinity of the specified areas for reasons of public safety and security. Full details of this Statutory Instrument will be promulgated by Notice to Aviation (NOTAM) and within the Aeronautical Information Package (AIP).
