Regulation 4 is a saving provision which ensures that any eCall PSAP is still required to handle eCalls originating from in-vehicle equipment according to the first generation eCall standards until 31st March 2031.
The net costs imposed on business, the voluntary sector and the public sector by these Regulations have been assessed as being less than £10m in any year and therefore a full impact assessment has not been prepared.
