The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Jet Formation
Display Teams) (Amendment) Regulations 2026
Made - - - - 28th July 2026
Coming into force - - 29th August 2026
The Secretary of State has decided that it is necessary in the public interest to amend the flying
restrictions imposed in the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Jet Formation Display Teams)
Regulations 2026(a).
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by
article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016(b).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Jet Formation
Display Teams) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and they come into force on 29th August 2026.
Amendment of the Regulations
2.—(1) The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Jet Formation Display Teams) Regulations
2026 are amended as follows.
(2) In the Schedule, in the entry for Southport, for “533704N 0030127W” substitute “533921N
0030117W”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Jet Formation Display
Teams) Regulations 2026 (S.I. 2026/596) by amending the location of the restricted area at
Southport noted within the Schedule.
Full details of these Regulations will be promulgated by Notice to Aviation (NOTAM).
