Decision No 2/2018 of the ACP-EU Committee of Ambassadors of 28 September 2018 giving a discharge to the Director of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) in respect of the implementation of its budget for the financial years 2004, 2005 and 2006 [2018/1526]
**Policy Summary:**
This decision, issued by the ACPEU Committee of Ambassadors on September 28, 2018, grants a discharge to the Director of the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) regarding the implementation of the Centre's budget for the financial years 2004, 2005, and 2006. The decision is based on Article 34 of Annex III to the Partnership Agreement between the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States and the European Community. The Committee's decision considered the balance sheets for 2004, 2005, and 2006, the Auditors' reports on the Centre's accounts for those years, and the Director's replies to the Auditors' comments. The revenue of the Centre for the financial years 2004, 2005 and 2006 consisted principally of contributions from the European Development Fund amounting to EUR 15,770,000, EUR 15,770,000 and EUR 14,200,000 respectively. The Committee concluded that the Director's overall implementation of the Centre's budgets during these financial years warranted a discharge.
