The European Union and the Kingdom of Thailand have agreed to provisionally apply certain parts of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation, starting on 20 October 2024.

Partnership and Cooperation between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part,
and the Kingdom of Thailand, of the other part
On 20 September 2024, the European Union and the Kingdom of Thailand have notified each other of the completion of
the procedures necessary for the provisional application of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and
Cooperation between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Kingdom of Thailand, of the
other part (1). Consequently and in accordance with Article 59 of the Agreement, Thailand and the Union may provisionally
apply mutually determined provisions of the Agreement as of 20 October 2024.
By virtue of Article 3 of Council Decision (EU) 2022/2562 (2) on the signing, on behalf of the European Union, and
provisional application of the Framework Agreement, the following parts of the Agreement shall be applied provisionally
between the Union and Thailand:
a) Title I;
b) Title II;
c) Title III;
d) Title IV: Articles 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29;
e) Title V: Articles 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49;
f) Title VI;
g) Title VII;
h) Title VIII;
i) Joint declaration on Article 5;
j) Joint declaration on Article 23.
