No. MISC-2025/E-office-1217630/ENG-2.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(5) of section 82 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003), and of all other powers enabling it in that
behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, on the recommendation of the Selection Committee
constituted under section 85 of the said Act, appoints Smt. Valsa Nair Singh, as a Chairperson of
the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission constituted under sub-section (1) of section 82
of the said Act, with effect from the date assumes charge.
