of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (46 of 2023), the Government of Maharashtra
hereby amends the Government Notification, Home Department, No.PRO.1125/C.R.57(E-1519739)/
Special-2, dated 8th January 2026, as follows,—
In the said notification, after the words “District Collector and the District Election Officer”
following words shall be added, namely :—
“Or as the case may be, the Municipal Commissioner and Election Officer.”
