NOTIFFICATION
The draft of thhe Karnatakka State Poolice Includding Ministeerial Servicees (Recruitmment)
(Amendmennt) Rules, 20020, which tthe Governmment of Karnnataka propposes to makke in exercisse of
tthe powers conferred bby sub-sectioon (1) of seection 3 readd with sectioon 8 of the Karnataka SState
CCivil Services Act 1978, (Karnataka Act 14 of 19990) is herebby publishedd as requiredd by clause ((a) of
ssub-section (2) of sectioon 3 of the ssaid Act for information of persons likely to be affected theereby
aand notice iis hereby giiven that the said draftt will be takken into consideration aafter fifteen days
ffrom the datte of its pubblication in thhe official Gaazette.
Any objection or suggestionn which maay be receivved by the SState Government fromm any
person withh respect too the said ddraft before the expiry of the periiod specifiedd above, wiill be
cconsidered by the State Governmment. Objections and ssuggestions may be adddressed too the

DRAFFT RULES
1. Title annd commeencement.--(1) These rules may be called tthe Karnataaka State PPolice
Including Miinisterial Serrvices (Recruuitment) (Ammendment) RRules, 2020
(2) TThey shall coome into forcce from the date of their final publiccation in thee Official Gazzette.
2. Amendmment of SSchedule .--In the Karnataka Statte Police Inncluding Minnisterial Serrvices
(Recruitmennt) rules, 20004 in the schhedule for thhe entries reelating to thee category of posts of “PPolice
CConstable (CCivil) (Men aand Women))” at serial NNo 14 the following shall be substituuted, namelyy:-
