NOTIFFICATION
The draft of thee following rules furtheer to amendd the Karnaataka State Police incluuding
ministerial sservices (Recruitment) RRules, 2004,, which the Governmennt of Karnattaka proposees to
make in exeercise of the powers connferred by thhe sub-sectioon (1) of thee section 3 rread with seection
88 of the Karrnataka Statee Civil Servicces Act, 1978 (Karnatakaa Act 14 of 11990) is hereby publisheed as
required by clause (a) oof sub-section (2) of secttion 3 of thee said Act, foor the informmation of perrsons
likely to be affected thhereby and notice is heereby given that the said draft will be taken into
cconsideratioon after fifteeen days fromm the date oof its publicattion in the OOfficial Gazettte.
Any objection or suggestionn, which maay be receivved by the SState Goverrnment fromm any
person withh respect too the said ddraft before the expiry of the periiod specifiedd above, wiill be
cconsidered by the Statte Governmment. Objecctions and suggestions may be addressed too the
AAdditional CChief Secretary to Goveernment, Hoome Departtment, Vidhaana Soudhaa, Bangaloree-560
0001.
DRAFFT RULES
1. Title and Commeencement.-- (1) Thesse rules maay be called the Karnattaka State PPolice
including Ministerial Servvices (Recruuitment) (Ammendment) RRules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force from the date oof their finaal publication in the Offficial
GGazette.

2. Amendment of schedule.- In the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services
(Recruitment) Rules, 2004, in the schedule, for the category of post of “Superintendent of Police
(Civil)” (Non Indian Police Services) at Serial Number 07 and the entries relating to thereto, the
following shall be substituted, namely:-
